Education Unplugged: My Story of Language Acquisition and Personal Development
Degree in Advertising and Public Relationship
I started college in 2015, unsure of where it would take me. The emphasis on mass media and journalism did not appeal to me, particularly given my relatives’ importance in those fields. However, it wasn’t until the beginning of my second year that I discovered the world of marketing and was attracted by David Ogilvy’s pioneering approach to advertising in the early twentieth century. This revelation ignited a new enthusiasm in me, prompting me to make a mid-career change. With the support of a loan, I pursued an arts degree, which proved to be a difficult but gratifying experience. Throughout this trip, I gained a better grasp of the market, its demands, and how to create compelling ideas that appeal to audiences.

Starting in the middle of my first career, I took the leap mid-career, fueled by my art background from art school and a student loan. Despite feeling overwhelmed at times (12+ hours in two collages, anyone?) I was overjoyed to be pursuing my actual passion. The arts faculty gave me important skills including design software, art history, critical thinking, and the creative process. This shift transformed me into a new person, one who felt harried but excited to be living their goal.
I was fortunate to meet talented teachers and peers, many of whom remain close friends today. I also discovered my passion for mentoring others, sharing expertise to improve projects, and offering constructive feedback. I was selected to rebrand the university’s website, though creative differences with the administration unfortunately halted the project.
Bilingual Background
A passion for languages led me to embark on a bilingual adventure at the American-Venezuelan Center of the Zulia State (CEVAZ) in 2014. Although I had to pause my studies, I never lost sight of my goal. Almost a decade later, in 2023, I seized the opportunity to resume my English education at Open English Academy. With unwavering dedication and an intense study regimen, I achieved the B2 Certification in March 2024. This milestone marked a significant turning point for me, as it validated my hard work and fueled my ambition to continue improving.
Elevating My Language Skills
To gain a deeper understanding of my progress, I decided to take the EF test to assess my true English level. The results? I achieved the C1 certification! This accomplishment has given me the confidence to aim higher and strive for native-level fluency. You can view my results below, and rest assured that I’m still committed to reaching my goal of achieving the C2 certification.

Generative AI, Difusion Models and LLM
As artificial intelligence evolves and shapes our world, I’m always fascinated by the latest discoveries and advancements. With the release of cutting-edge programs such as Dalle 2 and Microsoft Designer, I’ve become a passionate early adopter, eager to realize their full potential and push creative boundaries. My desire to discover new possibilities has led me to experiment with ComfiUI, which provides unequaled customization options and consistency in its user interface.
The image you see is one of my creations, resulting from the combination of Dalle 2’s AI-generated creativity and Microsoft Designer’s user-friendly design tools. I’m excited to be at the vanguard of this movement, always looking for new methods to express myself and explore new boundaries.
Reel LifeI: A Cinephile's Passion Unleashed
I’m a self-proclaimed cinephile with an insatiable need to see movies. When the lights dim and the projector turns on, I’m transported to new realms, engrossed in thrilling storylines, and left breathless by heart-pounding action scenes. My afternoons are sacrosanct, spent snuggled up in front of the big screen, surrounded by the darkness and majesty of the theater.
I devour movies like they’re going out of style, meeting with my pals to enjoy the experience, our reactions ranging from gasps of surprise to squeals of delight. From interstellar space warfare to spine-tingling horror, I enjoy them all, the more intense the better.
In an increasingly digitized age, there’s something indisputably wonderful about sitting in a darkened theater, surrounded by fellow film buffs, and losing ourselves in the magic of the cinema.
